What is digital identity?
Digital identity is proof of who you are online. It is a digital representation of your identity information, and other attributes about you, that you can use to prove who you are online, to access services digitally.

Digital Identity Services Trust Framework
The Digital Identity Services Trust Framework will establish rules to protect the privacy and security of people’s information when it is shared within the trusted environment. The framework will not be compulsory, and will prioritise user permission for all actions.

Digital identity system
The digital identity system is a network of digital identity service providers, users wanting to access a service, and service providers needing information to offer their service. Information will not be held in a central database and using the system will not be compulsory.
